Teaching Methods
Teaching methods
The course is delivered entirely online and asynchronously, allowing participants to progress at their own pace.
Learning is based on:
Structured multimedia content: short videos (in Portuguese with English subtitles), accompanied by supporting PDF documents (in English), facilitating the theoretical and practical understanding of the topics covered;
Formative self-assessment: each module includes an interactive quiz that allows participants to check their consolidation of the knowledge acquired. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass each quiz;
Practice-based learning: at the end of the course, participants develop and submit a practical assignment consisting of creating a simple web page that integrates the knowledge acquired throughout the course.
This methodology promotes autonomy, digital literacy, and the development of practical skills, without the need for direct support or supervision from instructors.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
- Understand the principle of video games as a type of media and their relationship with other forms of entertainment media;
