DESCRIPTION:Apply here\n \nApplication deadline: 11 September 2026 \nDo you want to immerse yourself in different cultures and languages? E³UDRES² offers a wide range of language courses in the E³UDRES² languages every term. Each course is taught by a member of the E³UDRES² Alliance and offers a deep dive into the local culture and language. From Hungarian to Portuguese\, these courses are carefully curated to provide you a new language learning experience! \nThe main focus of the language courses is at beginner level (CEFR A1) in order to be accessible to a wide range of people. Courses vary in length\, all are free of charge and are held in English. All courses will be available online\, providing flexibility for participants. DESCRIPTION:The 6th International Scientific Conference & the 15th Student Research Conference SOCIETY. TECHNOLOGY. SOLUTIONS will take place at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in Valmiera\, Latvia\, on 7–8 April 2027. \nIn 2027\, SOCIETY. TECHNOLOGY. SOLUTIONS aims to contribute to the synergy between society and technology by highlighting the following focus areas: \n\nsustainable entrepreneurship and economy;\nsocietal resilience\, security and sustainability;\nvirtual reality;\ndata mining and artificial intelligence;\nsociotechnical systems modelling.\n\nFor the 15th Student Research Conference on 7 April 2027\, students and recent graduates from Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences and other higher education institutions are invited to submit abstracts based on their recent study projects\, bachelor’s theses\, or master’s theses. At the student conference\, there will be two options for presenting: an 8-minute oral presentation or a poster. The best abstracts\, presentations and posters will be awarded. \nFor the 6th International Scientific Conference on 8 April 2027\, authors are invited to submit original abstracts that have neither been previously published nor simultaneously submitted to other conferences or academic journals. The extended abstract format and thematic session discussions facilitate the validation of early-stage research and development concepts. \nConference presentations will be organised into thematic panels based on the subject matter of the accepted abstracts. Each panel will comprise four to six presenters and a moderator. Presenters will deliver an 8-minute presentation outlining the key objectives\, methodology and findings of their research. The presentations will be followed by a moderated discussion\, providing an opportunity for scholarly exchange and critical reflection. \nThe official language of the conference\, including abstracts\, presentations and discussions\, is English. \nTwo abstract books will be published digitally: the Abstract Book of the 6th International Scientific Conference and the Abstract Book of the 15th Student Research Conference. A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) will be assigned to each abstract. \nAbstract submission \nAbstract submission for the 15th Student Research Conference and the 6th International Scientific Conference SOCIETY. TECHNOLOGY. SOLUTIONS is now open via Oxford Abstracts: \nSOCIETY. TECHNOLOGY.
