SUMMARY:Licensing and Open Licensing course
DESCRIPTION:The Licensing and Open Licensing Course\, developed part of E³UDRES² – Ent-r-e-novators aims to offer an overview of regulations\, copyright legislation and open licensing possibilities in science and education in particular. The module will develop the understanding of current international and European legislation surrounding the protection of data and of copyright laws. \nCompetencies: In line with the Digital competencies based on DigComp 2.2\, this course will contribute to the Digital Safety competency. \nOutcomes: On completion of this course\, participants will be able to: \nDescribe the principles and terms of copyright legislation; \nDefine your rights as a user or creator of Creative Commons; \nUnderstand the concepts of open source; \nChoose an appropriate license for your  work and evaluate the possibility of reusing others’ works depending on their licenses; \nUnderstand different open source tools; \nDefine the open and free movement; \nDescribe open practices. \nActivities: Different activities indicated in the course \nTime to complete the course: \nThis course is considered of 5 hours of learning activities. After you have completed all the activities\, you will be able to earn the badge\, issued as a micro-credential.
