Sascha builds on an interdisciplinary academic foundation, holding a bachelor’s degree in occupational psychology, a master’s degree in social policy, a master’s degree in statistics, and a PhD in quantitative sociology with a focus on personality psychology. He has been active as a postdoctoral researcher in various research centres, including the Centre for Demography, Family and Health (University of Antwerp), the Faculty
of Engineering Science (KU Leuven), and the Research Centre for Flemish Standardised Tests (Hasselt University).
Sascha has experience in project leadership in both academic and practice-oriented research. He has servedas a co-supervisor of doctoral research and as a project leader in applied research, including international initiatives such as Erasmus+. This broad experience has strengthened his expertise in evidence-based analysis and data-driven policy development.
With a growing focus on Human Resource Management, Sascha explores the interaction between the labour market and education. In his current role, he is a researcher on the projects “Business First, People First” and “Transform”, where he combines academic depth with a strong interest in the practical challenges of HR.
