With a PhD in biological sciences (Botany), his research and activities focus on the protection and conservation of biodiversity, the creation and research of protected areas, and the management of natural communities and populations of rare species He has experience in writing and participating in several research projects (including international ones) focused on nature conservation and working with communities on environmental issues. Member of the regional state administration's working groups: a) on biodiversity, b) on the development of the region's development strategy, and c) the working group of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources on the spread of invasive species. As an administrator, he coordinates scientific and international activities at the university.
